Youth Camp 2026
Washington, D.C.

Celebrating America’s
250th Birthday!

While America’s official 250th birthday is July 4th, we’ll celebrate just a few weeks later —
after we finish selling fireworks to help fund the trip!
July 28th- August 4th

A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience

In 2026, our nation celebrates 250 years of independence — and our youth have the incredible opportunity to be part of that historic moment in Washington, D.C.!
They won’t just read about history — they’ll walk where it happened. They’ll stand where leaders stood.
They’ll see the memorials that honor sacrifice and visit the institutions that shape our nation’s future.
This is more than a trip.
It’s more than sightseeing.
It’s a powerful week of faith, freedom, and unforgettable moments — designed to challenge hearts, strengthen convictions, and inspire bold Christian living. Our young people will learn how biblical truth influenced America’s foundation, reflect on the cost of liberty, and be encouraged to live with courage and purpose
in their own generation.
We believe this experience will leave a lasting mark — not just on their memories, but on their faith.

Why Washington, D.C.?

As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we want our young people to:
  • Understand the biblical foundations that shaped our nation
  • Learn the importance of religious liberty and freedom of speech
  • Recognize the cost of liberty
  • See how God has used America to send the Gospel around the world
  • Stand in places where history was made and reflect on God’s providence
“Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.” — Proverbs 4:26 (KJV)

A Week That Brings History to Life

Our itinerary is designed to do more than show landmarks. It is meant to shape hearts. Campers will stand at the Lincoln Memorial and reflect on courage in divided times, walk the solemn paths of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, and World War II Memorial, and look up at the Washington Monument, a reminder that a nation’s strength rests on its character.
They will see the White House, the Supreme Court of the United States, explore the United States Capitol Visitor Center, and view the founding documents at the National Archives Museum. At Arlington National Cemetery, including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the JFK gravesite, they will be reminded that freedom is never free.
Campers will visit Ford's Theatre, stand before the United States Marine Corps War Memorial, reflect at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, and Thomas Jefferson Memorial, and walk the grounds of Mount Vernon along the historic Potomac River.
They will explore the National Air and Space Museum and the National Museum of American History, see the National Postal Museum, visit the Museum of the Bible, enjoy the Smithsonian National Zoological Park, and step back into early America at Colonial Williamsburg.
By the end of the week, we pray our campers will not only better understand America’s history but also recognize their calling to live faithfully, lead courageously, and carry truth into their generation.

Who Is This For?

This Washington, D.C. trip is our official Youth Camp for 2026.
Campers include students who have finished 2nd grade through 2026 high school graduates. Whether they are just stepping into the youth group years or preparing for their next chapter after graduation, this trip is designed to challenge, inspire, and strengthen their faith.
We will also have approved adult workers and chaperones joining us to provide leadership, oversight, and spiritual guidance throughout the week.
Because this trip is our official 2026 youth camp and is fully fundraised and church-supported, participation is limited to students who are actively attending Bible Baptist Church. This allows us to responsibly steward finances, transportation, and leadership while ensuring proper supervision and spiritual preparation for everyone involved.
Because this is camp — just in a different format — participants should come ready to:
  • Learn with an open heart
  • Travel with flexibility
  • Serve with a good attitude
  • Represent Christ and our church well
This will be a structured, active, and spiritually focused week. Every student and adult attending will play an important role in making this experience meaningful and safe.

Cost & Fundraising

This is a fundraised trip.
We are asking the Lord to provide as we work together.
Fundraising opportunities include:
  • Fireworks stand
  • Yard sales
  • Coin drives
  • Direct sponsorships
  • Online giving
If you or someone you know would like to support a student, donations are welcome.

Our Prayer

That our young people will return:
Grateful for their freedoms
Rooted in biblical truth
Burdened for the Gospel
Determined to walk with purpose
America’s 250th birthday is not just about celebration —
it is about remembering God’s hand and committing the next generation to faithfulness.
